Providing an array of services to people with developmental disabilities, these homes are designed to meet specific needs to ensure an individual can live as independently as they can in their community. Operating 12 months a year for 24 hours a day, the inclusion of recreational activities in the community are an important component of this program. In order to participate in these homes, an individual must complete an assessment to see what's in the best interest of the individual, with consent from that individual, guardian, or significant others chosen by the individual, as well as the QIPD (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional) and the Community Support Team. Emergency and Crisis Support Teams are available in the homes 24/7.
